Volunteer at the Theatre Royal

Do you love theatre? Are you inspired by history? Would you like to share your enthusiasm with audiences and visitors to the Theatre Royal? We are always on the lookout for outgoing individuals of all ages to join the Theatre Royal's team of volunteers.

Volunteer Heritage Guides

Since its re-opening in 2007 we have been working hard to put the Theatre Royal on the map as an important artistic centre as well as a not-to-be-missed heritage attraction. Come join our family of volunteers to help us introduce this beautiful building to our visitors. We are looking for great communicators to take people on our exciting guided tours around the Theatre.

The role of Heritage Guides also comprises selling our range of Theatre Royal merchandise and welcoming visitors who come informally to look around the building, answering questions about the Theatre's history and present day activities.

Volunteer Front of House Stewards (Weekends)

We are looking for volunteers to help us assist our customers when they attend our weekend theatre performances.
