DON'T MISS....

Top Girls
1st Jan - 4th Feb

An unparalleled story of success and, chillingly, what happens to those left behind. One of the seminal plays ofthe twentieth century, Top Girls flashes with razor-sharp wit and ingenious theatricality.

Thatcher's England: hard-nosed, go-getting businesswoman Marlene is hosting a dinner party to celebrate her promotion to MD of the Top Girls Employment Agency. Her guests, all powerful women from myth and history, make for an extraordinary gathering.

Starring Caroline Catz (Doc Martin)

Stagefright
9th- 25th Feb

It is 1894 and something is stirring at London's Lyceum Theatre- something terrifying, something breathtaking, something... supernatural.

Sir Henry Irving, the greatest actor of his age, and his manager Bram Stoker, who is soon to thrill the world with his masterpiece Dracula, find themselves trapped in a dressing room at the dead of night. Nor are they alone. The men battle with a rising hysteria as a petrifying presence propels them from an evening of comedy to one of shock and dread.

Theatre Bus

The Stagefright Theatrebus service offers return coach travel from across Suffolk to the doorstop of the Theatre Royal, and so allowing you the chance to enjoy your night out without worrying about parking, or having a cheeky tipple in the Theatre’s fantastic Greene Room bar. The service is being launched on 17th March 2011 with The Massacre and Wives As They Were and Maids As They Are by Bury’s own playwright Elizabeth Inchbald and He’s Much To Blame by Thomas Holcroft, and it is anticipated that the remaining scripts will be available by mid-2011.
