Choosing your seats at the Theatre Royal

In order to help you select your seats in the Theatre, we have provided some information about each seating area in the auditorium.

Reservations

Reservations must be paid for within seven days of booking, or one week before the performance, whichever is sooner. Tickets purchased after this time must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Tickets will be held at the Box Office for collection or we can post tickets to you for an additional £1.

Ticket exchange and return

We are pleased to accept returns up to one week before the performance and either exchange seats for another performance, or credit your Theatre account ('on-line' credit) in full less a handling charge of £1 per ticket.

On-line credits are valid for two years from date of issue. Less than seven days before the performance we shall try to re-sell your tickets for you but cannot guarantee this. If they are re-sold you will receive a credit to your Theatre account in full, less a handling charge of £1 per ticket.

Discounts and concessions

The following are only available for Theatre Royal promotions (excluding pantomime). Not available in Seating Area E.

Friends Of The Theatre F
£1.50 off the cost of up to two tickets

Groups of 8 or more
£1 off per full price ticket.

Children, Students, Registered Unemployed, those on Registered State Benefit and Registered Disabled
£2 off selected performances and Standbys (Mon - Thurs). Half price (available from 10am on the day of performance). Proof of status will be required when collecting your tickets.

School Groups
Please contact the Box Office for details.

Gift vouchers

Theatre Royal Gift Vouchers can be bought from the Box Office and exchanged for Theatre tickets. Vouchers are valid for five years from time of purchase.
