Corporate support

The Theatre Royal enjoys many successful partnerships with businesses. We offer mutually beneficial relationships through sponsorship of specific productions or activities, and support of our general work.

Please see below for what we can do for you, details of our statistics and what your support would mean to us.

What we can do for you

Association with the Theatre Royal is an excellent way to raise your profile, gain publicity, contribute to the local community and reward your staff for their hard work. Sponsorship packages can be tailored to the specific interests of your company.

Companies can sponsor any production within our programme, from comedies, pantomimes or children’s work, to the best contemporary and heritage drama. Our education and community work also offers great scope for rewarding sponsorship.

A corporate partnership with the Theatre Royal can provide a business with:

  • a marketing tool, promoting company services to theatre audiences
  • help in building brand profile
  • ways to fulfill social responsibility objectives
  • a means to strengthen links with the community
  • networking and corporate hospitality opportunities
  • entertainment for staff and clients
  • arts based training skills packages for employees
  • opportunities for staff to get involved with community projects
  • exclusive access behind the scenes at the Theatre

In addition, enjoying a performance in the only surviving Regency playhouse in the world is a unique experience.

What your support would mean to us

Forming a partnership with the Theatre will -

  • help us to provide an outstanding drama programme, and build a reputation as one of the UK’s most exceptional creative and innovative organisations
  • actively make a difference to people’s lives by ensuring our Community and Learning programmes can be at the heart of everything we do
  • enable our Heritage programme to deliver our aspiration to become a centre for Georgian theatre and do what the Globe has done for Elizabethan theatre

"Regional audiences for culture are growing ever stronger, more so in the East.

Consequently, companies based in the region have the chance to seek out partnerships with the arts that will create real impact with their customers, employees and communities.

These partnerships can offer excellent value, and I urge the region's small and medium-sized organisations to explore what the arts can do for them."
